Aperol Spritz X Jade
This Aperol Spritz recipe is pretty much identical to any other Aperol Spritz recipe out there BUT the ratios for this one creates a slightly stronger Spritz. Which means less number of drinks to get the job done… Is that a bad thing to say? Oh well… it’s true lol!
An Aperol Spritz has been on the rise the past couple of summers and I had never really heard about this drink until my sister, Jade introduced me to it a couple of years ago! She is very fond of this drink and truly I don’t blame her. A combination of Prosecco or Champagne, Aperol (a bitter orange liqueur), and sparkling water create a refreshing and buzz worthy summer delicacy. I was lucky enough to travel to Europe last summer as a college graduation trip and to my luck, they were served EVERYWHERE. Then again, the popular drink was created in Italy after all!
When I have an Aperol Spritz in my hand, I can’t help but always think of my sister. She was the one to introduce me to it, but she also makes a mean one herself. Every time I go to visit her in San Jose or if we are together here in Orange County, there is no doubt that we have had a Spritz in hand at one point or another during our trips. Truly it is a staple in our relationship and I’m not complaining.
